THE JOHN DALY CX PARTY BIKE

HISTORY

Purchased from a friend to delve into the world of CX, I envisaged this bike to be the vehicle to take me to semi-off-road C grade glory. The try before buy test ride was conducted on the golf course across the street from Soup Boys HQ, and given it's vibrant colour way, it became affectionately known as (Sir) John Daly.

While the glory and the fame may not have necessarily come with its purchase, the party vibes most certainly have. We've been through a lot together, countless CX races in the best and worst of conditions. DNF's, commutes, pump tracks, podiums. Sitting uniquely in a place that marries both the past (canti brakes) with the future, or moreso the present (discs...if only written on the frame for some reason) this bike is the ultimate racer disguised as the do-it-all, capped off with custom edition finishing touches that leave this bike in as fine shape as its namesake. Here's to you John Daly.
